Laura is a stay-at-home and work-from-home mom to Laney and her baby sister, who was born two months after Laney’s first acute stroke. Brian is an attorney and loving father.
Laura and Brian dedicated themselves to Laney for the ten months that she was ill. They never left Laney’s side and became her fiercest advocates, medical caretakers, therapists, and puppeteers. Up until Laney’s last days, they surrounded her with love and smiles.
Now, in Laney’s honor, Laura and Brian are dedicated to telling Laney’s story, and helping other children affected by pediatric stroke.
